Fast Forward

      Why not just start at the beginning? Why not go through your childhood and build on it?  I have my reasons.  Anyways, it is almost June of 2026.  For months, I have been fighting the itch to get back to writing.  About a decade ago, I was posting regularly to a Blogger account with several blogs created to tell a story.  As I said above, I do have a method to my madness.  I could easily just go in order, do a timeline, etc. but, that is not how I want my story to be told.       The goal of this specific blog is to keep me accountable.  If I get bored or am just laying around, I need to grab my laptop or phone and just write until I cannot write anymore.  Recounting 35 years is a lot and I have gone through a wide range of ups, downs, and landslides. Why I Write: Introduction

      By the time you read this, 35 years of my life have already passed.  I lost most of my family, been through several traumatic events, and nothing is how I expected it would be.  My generation lived through a pandemic and the terror that is Donald Trump...I digress.  Even though I could have easily ranted right there, I fought the urge by typing away on my laptop.       For a long time, I contemplated writing about my life.  My reasoning was that sharing my experiences with the world would both help me heal, as well as inspire others who might be going through a rough patch.  However, my mind did its usual thing, and was taunting me asking,  "Who would want to read this?   What's the point?  Why write?"  By the time you finish reading everything I have to say, you should be able to answer all of these questions.  If not, I am sorry that I have failed you and not met YOUR expectations. ...
